The MemGold™ screens are the result of data mining of successful crystallization conditions for alpha helical prokaryotic and eukaryotic membrane proteins. In 2008, Molecular Dimensions released MemGold™; a rationalized sparse matrix type membrane protein crystallization screen. MemGold™ was based on the crystallization conditions for 121 alpha helical membrane proteins deposited in the PDB.

• Covers conditions for approximately 130 different membrane protein structures in the PDB.
